Default Options for purchasing Ducati parts in Australia

Hi there,

First time poster. I've just bought a 1098s and I'm looking for some reliable and cheaper options to buy parts in / delivered to Australia.

First thing is the exhaust - would love a set of Termignognis however I'm open to suggestions too.

Also if you have any recommendations for important mods to the 1098s please let me know too.

Regards
Jeremy

with the US$ @ AUD$0.91, there is no better time than now to buy from the US. Unless it starts to go higher of course.

Try Motowheels, Kyle Racing to start with.

Google is your friend.

You'll get things a lot cheaper than you can buy locally. Also be aware of import duty on purchases over $1,000. Some vendors will understate the value on the customs declarations so you avoid paying duty, but you should discuss that with them prior to purchase.

If you purchase in the USA just make sure you know the postage/shipping costs they can be expensive.

Adding to what Soz said, keep in mind that any purchase over $1000AUD (postage cost is included in this total) will incur an additional import duty of 23%! Aussie customs calculate value on the day of arrival, not day of purchase, so varying exchange rates can be a trap here as well. I learned this one the hard way.
